I am interested to buy a completed resale private property. My agent tells me that he charges 1% agent fee. But my friends who have recently bought completed resale private property told me that buyers need not pay any agent fee. Would appreciate some advice. Thanks

You are right. Private property buyers do not need to pay commission unless there is some special arrangement.
