I am a SPR and am about to take possession of a resale HDB flat(1st appt with HDB). However, I am worried whether I can sell my flat if my PR is not renewed (i still have 3 years to go) for some reason. Can I sell my flt before my PR lapses?Also, are the new rules which Minister Mah Bow Tan spoke about today, come in the way of my selling the flat? If the rules become too onerous, I will have to decline purchase even if it means compensating owner.My life savings will go into the flat and I cannot risk bankcruptcy. Any advice, much appreciated. Many thanks.
