I am a Singaporen and a merdeka generation.Lately I rent out my HDB flat due to some financial problems.I was told that Landlords should pay the conservancy charges and tenants pay the utilities bill.
My question is,If landlord rent out rooms and stay in 1 room ,the land Lord will pay the conservancy charges .O.k that's fair.
But if landlord rent out the whole unit why should landlord pay the conservancy charges when tenants are using the facilities. I think this is unfair.
To my opinion I think the tenants should bare the conservency charges.Because they have occupied the whole flat and they are using the the facilities.
Another question is,I did pay the conservency charges for july,I paid base on the GST voucher for 5 room HDB flat.
To my surprise I was told that I am not entitle for the GST voucher once I lease out the whole flat.
I dont understand why am I not entitle when I am a Singapore citizen and also from the middle income.
But when the agent charged me the commission I have to pay gst for the commission.
I think our government must look into all this unfair rules.
