Hi Marcus,
Agency fees are negotiable. However, the rates are dependant on types of transactions.
For selling a private or HDB property, the general rate is about 2% of the selling price.
For buyers, HDB is 1%. Private property buyers may be required to pay 0.5%, but most don't as the fees are collected from the sellers' agents.
