If we were to factor in that we can help you negotiate a better deal where you potentially save more than $15k, would it be okay for you to say pay us 50% of this savings as our service fees?

There is no hard and fast rule in service fees application, although the general rule of thumb will be to share the service fees among both the seller's and buyer's appointed salesperson for private property transactions. If we really look into the dynamics of interest, although a purchaser's salesperson has duty of care to the purchaser, but how effective can that be carried out if the service fees is coming from the seller's pocket?

And to that extent, you are now looking for a professional who can provide the right advise, negotiate a better deal for you and take care of your interest in the whole purchasing process, do you think it will be fair that you should pay for the commission such that your representation can be done to best effect?

I cannot think of any professions that provides free professional services unless for those financially not well off consumers.
