Hi, would like to check if we were to lock down 1% of commission for the appointed agent to sell our place. But they close the deal thru another agent (co-broke). We presume, the 1% of commission would be split between these 2 agents? How does it work? Please advise. Thanks!

Morning Mrs. Ang,

As per stated agreement, you are only paying your salesperson 1% for the sales of your property. Hence it's his duty to work the sums out on his side.
