hi, we rented a master room direct from owner our TA stated min of 6 months stay, 2months before i end i notify my landlord that im moving out at the end of 6 months. he told me that the 6 months stay doesnt include the 1 month notice, so he said that i need to finish the 6 months rent and plus 1 more month for my notice of termination. i've been renting in Singapore for almost 7 yrs and first time i encounter this type of contract... is there such thing in Singapore law? my another problem is that he never give me a copy of our TA, and i believe its not stamped coz i cant remember he charged me for stamping of documents. now i asked him to provide me s copy of the TA he refuse to give coz he claiming that he already gave me a copy before. But even if he gave me a copy and i lost it i still have the right to ask for a copy?
