hi Property Guru, If i have fully paid up my HDB flat and intend to buy a EC. Do i have to sell away my HDB within 6 months upon the EC TOP? If i loan 80% from Bank and after my selling my HDB flats, the CPF used is placed back to CPF account, can i use it to lighten the loan from Bank? or can i use it for monthly payment? Please advise. Thanks.

Dear Lee,

1) Yes, You will have to sell away your HDB units within 6 months taking possession of your EC

2) You can use the CPF either for your monthly instalment or a lump sum payment for the loan.

Thanks.

Hi Lee,

1) Yes, you are require to sell off your HDB flat within 6 months upon TOP of the new EC.

2) As you had fully paid for you current HDB and without any existing mortgage loan, you are eligible for max 80% bank loan for your EC, but still subjected depending on your age.

3) After you had sold your HDB flat, those amount that you had contributed for your this flat, will be placed back to your CPF account. And it can be use for the monthly payment.

The upcoming new EC will be The Rainforest @ CCK which will be launching soon on 1st week of Jan 2012.

Please feel free to contact me for the detais of this project.
I'm from the developer sales team of The Rainforest.
