Classification of residential projects into condos and apartments are based on their land size even though they might have almost all kinds of facilities. Any project with a land size with at least 40,000 sqft will be classified as condos while anything less than that will be classified as apartments.
Btw do you intend to purchase a new or resale condo?
For new condos, it depends on the developer on what are the furnishing they are providing. Most will provide wardrobe, kitchen cabinets, hood and stove etc. Some even provide fridge and washer/ dryer.
For resale condos, it depends on the seller whether they are willing to leave behind their furnishings. But definitely fixtures will be left behind.
For both choices, I think you will definitely need to do up abit on renovation.

Btw are you a SPR or foreigner? If you are either one, do bear in mind you will be subject to additional buyer's stamp duty for your residential property purchase.
