Hi, i'm currently holding my salesman license for 3 years but did not practice at all.
This year I have fulfilled my CPD hours, and was thinking of not renewing with an agency.

How long can I take a break from renewing the license without having to re-take the dreaded RES exams?

It is costly to renew/sign up with an agency while I am not practicing. I want to keep as a backup career.

Hi Aurora,

Once you never continue for that year, you will need to prepare to retake your RES again when you decide to continue to be an agent.

First of all, if you do not have the least interests at all, really no point just to keep the license for your future backup, cos you will be totally lost in touch with the recent new ruling, etc.. in the property market.

But, if you really do mind about your license so much, especially the amount you need to pay each year to hold your license, why not ask your manager, or other that you might want to join with them on how you can earn back your yearly amount that you will need to pay without spending too much time on here.
