I would like to know whether a single person (singapore citizen) can buy hdb flat upon reaching 35yrs old? Is it possible to rent out the current 5 room hdb flat which is under my parents name, and both me and my parents live in the new home? Is it considerd owning 2 hdb houses? If my parents were to downgrade, will they have to live in their downgraded house for 5 years before renting out the whole unit? Hoping to hear from you soon ! Thank you! : )
