Hi, I intend to sell my HDB flat (stayed more than 5 years) first before purchasing another HDB resale flat. Do I need to pay ABSD as I'm single?

Evening Allan,

ABSD is only payable for your second property count in holding. Once you have sold your unit, your property count is zero. Hence you are not liable for ABSD.
