Congratulations on your decision to take the 1st step out in participating in the RES course come December.

Typically, to join any estate agencies as a fresh salesperson, nominal fees is required to be paid for the following:

1) Start up preparation course (usually refundable based on performance)
2) Start up kit (business cards and etc.)

Take note that RES course fees refund may also be applicable for certain estate agencies based on performance too.

The success formula for all salesperson are bascially the same. I would love to say that in current era of real estate sales, it is important to identify the right team to join such that one can enjoy the power of leveraging from colleagues, since the days of solo salesmanship is more or less outdated as it has been more or less proven that the career of solo salesperson is short therefore the basic foundation in creating a business system to last is important, especially in terms of creating passive income.

Do note that it is a requirement to obtain prior approval from your current employer to practise in this industry as a part time salesperson. I started off as a part timer too and have converted to full time since almost 2 years ago, without any prior sales experience. Read More
