Hi,
I cleared my RES recently and is looking for an agency to join full time. I understand that the agencies out there has their own strengths. Huttons is mostly new projects, DTZ, CBRE are mostly commercials where else ERA, Propnex and OrangeTee are into many multiple areas.
My question is that for a rookie, would it be better for him to "specialise" early based on his interest (which however could be sensitive to market changes and a smaller niche) or is it better for him to "generalise" first(learn to do many different kind of transactions, wider niche & opportunities but master only a little of each as a result plus bigger competition).
What is your opinion based on your own experiences and observations of successful agents?
