Hi I am renting a room in a HDB for the past 1 year and now I wish to extend my Tenancy for one more year. The owner has prepared a tenancy agreement and given me a signed copy with details of details of agreement, responsibilities etc. & witness signature , owner signature. My question is will this be a valid tenancy agreement ? Is this tenancy agreement okay or is it necessary that any government fee to be paid by the owner and does the tenancy agreement need to have government seal or something. Kindly advise.
