Hi I am 38, earning about $3.5k monthly. I have 3 dependents, two 4yrs old and a 6 week old baby. I am getting tired of corporate life and I think my position can't go any further and so my pay. I am only a diploma holder.I have been thinking of joining property as it can bring rewards with hard work and of course a bit of luck. I have been working in sales for few years before so serving is not a problem. My only concern and what pulling me back is how long will I be able to get my first deal and the pay check. I can't stay too long without income as my saving is almost been used up for the kids. Hope to hear some advice from some guru here.

Morning Ben,

Being a family man, commitment and responsibility is important. Being a fresh man, it's not easy to convince your client on the amount of experience you have. Starting as part time can be a possible step for you to take but you might have alot of weekday evening and weekends burnt.
As you have said, beside luck and hardwork, you need guidance. I closed my first deal within 6 weeks from joining the industry. But the money will only be in 3 months after that, when the completion takes place. Hence keeping your full time job and doing part time will allow you to take one step at a time.

All the best.
