Yes, in fact its very common for RES to start off as a part time real estate salesperson while still working full time for other company, which is very similar to your thought. Basically these part time RES want to have a feel of this industry before deciding to resign from the other company to be a full time real estate salesperson.
In the meantime, to be a property agent, whether part-time or full time, the min age is 21 yrs, must be Singapore citizen or PR, must have min 4 O level passes which you already have. Next, have to sign up and pass the RES (Real Estate Salesperson) course. You join the agency only when you have passed your RES exams and the agency you joined will apply to the license from CEA (Council for Estate Agencies) for you.
You will next search to join the right team with the right Mentor/Manager as this will greatly decides your future success. By joining the right team with proven success formula, your kick start is very much easy.
