Do I have to keep paying agent fees for every year that I renew my contract even though it's the same unit? I am currently renting a whole HDB apartment. Does this apply to everyone or only certain agency? Thank you.

Dear tenant, The service fees agreement which you have signed will have indicated that service fees is payable at renewal of tenancy. Give the salesperson who introduced you this unit credit for introducing you a unit which you have no issues with renewing. Some tenants are constantly on the move every year because of suitability issues. If you have to shift house, you will also be paying service fees to agent for securing you the new unit too isn't it?
