Dear Property Agents,
I am staying in a flat where I have problems with my immediate neighbors.
They hurl vulgarities at me all times of the day and make loud noises at night to disturb me. As a result, I am unable to live peacefully in my house.Due to the hbd cooling measures, I am unable to afford a second flat and move out.
I have tried lodging a police report to question my neighbors and also gone to HDB to complain. But the situation did not improve. My worry is that after 5 years MOP, will HDB allow me to rent out my flat for at least 41/2 to 5 years before I can save up money to buy a new flat?
I am a sole owner who has suffered a lot because of these abusive situation. Does HBD allow people like me to sublet on compassionate grounds. What evidence must I gather to support my case?
