Dear Gurus, my tenant renting the whole flat is requesting for me to put up a partition wall in my living area. She intends to find a subtenant to stay with them. I am open to the idea as it creates an extra room. Would it be alright for me to do that as long as I check the documents of the subtenant and report details to HDB?

Hi,

Regarding this matter as it involves modifying your HDB you would have to check with HDB first before creating a partition wall.
