Dear Gurus,

I note that most Buyer's Agents indicate 1% + 7% GST.

For illustration purposes, let us assume I am buying a 3-room resale for S$350,000.

Is the 1% of the purchase price of the flat? i.e. $3,500?

And is the 7% billed on the 1% value (i.e. $245) , or the purchase price of the flat? ($24,500)

I hope it is $245.

Its 7% GST on the commission, hence $245. Total payable will be $3745 for your example. Thanks and look forward to value-add to your housing plans further.
