Dear Guru. I dn't know if we r in trouble. We bought a resale flat and signed the OTP with the deposit of 5K to the seller. On our 1st appointment with HDB, the seller expressed dissatisfaction with the sale and is not so ready to sell her house. Now my question is although she has signed the completion date to be on the date we negotiated, 1. what happens if she doesn't move out on that day? She has domestic problems and is a divorce case...2. are we allowed to cancel the deal as we foresee a lot of trouble. 3. What will we be our stand in this case..4. Can we ask the agent handling this transaction to look for us another house even if we have completed the 1st appt with HDB.We dnt want to start a life in ahouse with so many conflicts..Please advise..Wld really appreciate it. Thank you.
