Hi Rachel,

Is the transaction totally gone or is the completion delayed due to the loss of OTP? I believe that settling the most urgent part is more important than looking at the actions you can take against the seller now. Did HDB advise on how the remedy of the transaction can take place?

Hi Rachel,

1) I would think the most crucial is to ask the HDB how can you proceed with the transaction without the original OTP.
2) You may call the HDB officer in charge of your case directly.
3) The officer's phone number and email address should be available on your MYHDB after logging in with Singpass.
4) If the completion really cannot proceed due to this administration hiccup, you should consult your lawyer on the most appropriate action to take.

As per what my colleagues had shared, it is more crucial to solve the issue at hand and I believe you do have the contact number and email of the HDB officer who is in charge of your case and let this officer to assist and to advice you further.
