Can I write a letter to HDB to waive off the 50% cash proceeds for my 2nd time in purchasing a new flat from HDB? Or payback in installment? As I have used the cash proceeds to pay off my debts and settled parents financial woes. Currently, I only have enough to pay the resale levy. I really need to purchase a flat as I can't stayed with my in-laws.

Morning,

I'm sure you have read the news and the number of people taking bank's mortgage loan have increased. That's because alot of people are in the same boat as you. This particular step encourage home sellers to plan for their next purchase before going into it without consideration.

Since you have enough for resale levy, why not try buying resale unit with bank loan?
