Can an estate agent legally represent both the landlord and the tenant and take commission from both?

Hi Christer,

Even in a normal resale transaction, a sale person is not allowed to collect commission from both seller & buyer.

There will be a conflict of interest for the sale person.

If you have encountered such case, you may wish to report the sale person to CEA. (www.cea.gov.sg)
