Hi, as we all know every RES course centre is good & has good passing rates too. There is no right or wrong to take your RES at IEA since you found that the course fees is cheaper. I don't think anyone we will recommend which RES course centre at the Q&A forum. Your have to do your own research. Although RES is conducted in English, I believe you have 4 O levels, which is the qualification to enrol for RES course, hence your English should be acceptable.
To be a property agent in Singapore, whether part-time or full time and the mim age is 21 yrs, you must have min 4 O level passes, with max 2 sittings. or equivalent. Next, you have to sign up and pass the RES (Real Estate Salesperson) course. Once you passed your RES course, you join an agency which will apply for your RES license from CEA (Council for Estate Agencies) for you. You will next search to join the right team with the right Mentor/Manager as this will greatly decides your future success. By joining the right team with proven successful training programs, your kick start is very much easy. Our team, Powerful Negotiators is the largest team in PropNex, and ProNex is also the largest agency in Singapore. Also, we have properties and agents covering all the 4 sectors, HDB, condo landed and commercial/industrial. I was a retired Warehouse Manager, completely alien to this industry, and I was fortunate to have found this team 12+ years ago, starting alone as a newbie and today I have a strong team of agents and still growing. I provide 1-1 training to all my new agents. Personal guidance is assured. Hope I have attended to all your queries. Please feel free to drop me a mail if u need any clarification.
Look forward to hear from you.
