Jalan Berseh is situated in Central Area. Jalan Berseh is located alongside Syed Alwi Road and Jln Besar. It is one of those dense areas of Singapore which got developed during British rule. Since 1990s, many areas got developmental project for improving their infrastructure and Jalan Berseh was the first one of them. Since then, numerous properties got built in this area and subsequently, the price rates of HDBs went up. Jalan Berseh is one of the few areas in Singapore, where only certain class of people could afford to own a property and do business or live here. During the period of renovations, the local administration didn’t want to damage the pre-colonial times architecture which resembled the Singaporean culture. That’s why you can still find many 100-year-old buildings in this place. Apart from that, there are many modern facilities built around this area such as entertainment centres, healthcare centres, recreational gardens, schools etc. The main attractive point for this place to gain country wide recognition is its demography of higher class of people. Jalan Berseh is a medium sized commercial place, where you can see many 100-year-old shops and business centres still running.  Here, there are around 3 blocks of HDBs with 421 HDB units. The postcode range is from 200025 to 200027. This property was built in 1979. This property provides flats with 2 bedrooms, 3 bedrooms and 4 bedrooms. The USP about these HDBs are they give you much closer access to both costliest and cheapest facilities present nearby.


Apart from HDBs, you also get proper transportation facility to move around the city. There are four major bus stations present alongside the lane of Jalan berseh i.e.  Block 04, Block 03, Block 02 and Block 01. The buses that passes by these bus stations are 2, 9, 55, 58, 62, 66, 66A, 35M, 69, 69W etc. These buses reach out to entire southern part of Singapore so if you board them, it will automatically take you most corners of the city.


If you want to consider going via MRT, there are several MRT stations from Jalan Berseh i.e. Jalan Besar MRT station, Rochor MRT station and Lavender MRT station. Although travelling in MRT might cost you extra but there are people who prefer to go via train. This MRT station is 500 meters away from the centre point of Jalan Berseh.


Well, transportation facility is covered but the primary factor to move in this area is its closer proximity to educational and healthcare facilities.
