Prestige condo with lots of greenery, natural
We like this condo the moment we reached the guard house. Waterfall near entrance. Most units are bright and windy. Lots of natural light and the facade looks clean and well maintained. The many penthouses with open to sky rooftop is the perfect place for a lazy afternoon or stars glazing nights. Great outdoor for kids and gardening. There is a large pool, kids pool and jacuzzi pool for kids and sun tanning. Beautiful koi fish ponds among 3 cosy pavilions to just sit and read a book or you can get some packets of fish food from guard house to feed the fishes. A quiet reading room, pool view gym room at level 2, tennis court, basketball court, kids playground and bbq pits among the greenery. Great kids friendly resort accessible to transport & eatery with elite schools nearby. -

Ignorant condo management
The condo manager & staffs don’t respond to complaints well. In fact they don’t respond at all as they don’t give a damn care. I feel trapped to live here and hope it won’t happen to others. -

Too close for comfort
I visited the place quite some time back, overall it's not a pleasant living environment, the building is too close to each other, one can see to the other unit quite clear, curtains need to be down all the times. And privacy issue when using the swimming pool and amenities, almost all units can look at you, I prefer roof top swimming pool and amenities with more privacy setting. -

Tenant since 2015
I'm an American tenant living here with my family (2 children) since 2015. Interior: unit layout is squarish and maximizes space. Miele cooking appliances. Parquet and marble surfaces in rooms and living rooms. No issues so far. Exterior: repainting exercise has been ongoing over the past year and all buildings have a fresh coat of paint. On the point of the units being built too close to each other, I have not had this issue as in my experience, this is fairly standard when I was looking for a suitable development. Condo facilities: standard facilities (gym, tennis, badminton, basketball, table tennis, water jacuzzi, children's pool, playground, infinity pool). Transport links: excellent. Bus stop right outside and across the road. MRT (KAP or Sixth Avenue) both a short walk from the development. Nearby amenities: works great for the family. There are supermarkets at Bukit Timah Plaza, Sime Darby or The Grandstand. Food options are aplenty in the nearby vicinity. 7-Eleven and bars are just down the street. Property management: 24 hours security, issues raised are looked into, facilities are well maintained. All in all, my experience has been pleasant and there is a good mix of tenants in the estate. It is popular with Korean, Japanese, European and American expats. I've not had any issues with insects (fairly normal in a tropical climate). -

Not really a buy
I saw this place because the agent kept on calling me and urging me to take a look. Upon arrival at the unit, the place looks so claustrophobic. The units are build too close to each other. So congested and run down. Paints on the wall of our unit have already started peeling. Finishing is not really up to par and looks very cheap. After that I really had to tell that agent not to call me anymore. -

Decided Against Cascadia and Glad I did
I have done extensive research on Cascadia for buying and staying here. Unltimately, we decided against it and I want to share some of my views, so that others can make an informed decision. Pro: The two largest selling points are FREEHOLD property and the proximity to the future Downtown line MRT station. Con: 1) The buildings are very close to each other. For all the units we looked at, we could literally see into the neighbors living room. So, the only way to prevent that is to pull curtains up. But who wants to stay at a place with curtains drawn all day!? 2) Interior fittings and see-thru wardrobes look cheap and make it seems as if the developer tried to save costs everywhere. 3) There is hardly any breeze going through the development. It all feels very stuffy and blocked up. Developer clearly tried to max out space. In sum, we would not want to live here, nor can we see being able to rent out this property at a good price. -
