I rented and then bought a unit here. Lots of nearby preschool choices, and downtown east/wet market is all u need for daily living, hence the purchase at $1100psf vs new launches. Next to park for the great outdoors. Gym is fine, pools are a bit weird but usable. Tennis court is easy to book. Lots of local kids here for that kampong feel. This was our final pull factor.
The bad part of this condo is its design, devoid of common sense, safety and ease of maintenance for the Mcst. Moving here from the Palette, the stark difference in common area design is apparent. One may concur that EC designs are inherently made inferior, regardless of true construction cost, to create product differentiation. I don’t really care as housing is usually transient to our way of life

Right next to nature
Nowadays, Singapore got so many high rise development, it's really hard to find a place that you can enjoy living next to nature. I think this is one of the few that you can have greenery and the beach within walking distance from you.

Hazard alert
The paints are peeling off the walls and there are broken tiles spotted around the common area. There are many kids living in this condo and these pose as a hazard to them especially

Worst Management
Management in Sea Horizon is very bad. No compassion towards the residents. Many of the amenities are broken and the MCST takes ages to repair it. BBQ pit was down for many months and until now, the revamp is not completed. Sinking fund keeps increasing, management fund is extremely expensive as well. Pool tiles are broken, and can cause cuts for children and adults alike, but no rectification works done.
