Good Buy
With the new mixed plot land tender awarded at $1XXX psf, and the expected price of $1400-1500 psf for the launch, this condo is a bargain. Big, spacious and away from the hustle bustle. Freehold to boot too! -

Northwood
My family have been staying in Australia for a while. We only moved in recently for a couple of months. Not true for all the negative personal reviews. The 1st parking is free whereas 2nd parking lot is charge @ $200 per month(via balloting)However I found not much of an issue as I have my second car parked at the HDB carpark which is about 200m away. Maintenance fee is $1197 for 3 months, which is reasonable as this is quite a small development. Not crowded, serene place with lots of greens. Helpful cleaners, security guards, manager and gardener. Not so much on the insects' issue as we are in a tropical climate. Big spacious bedrooms and balcony, can consider it as jumbo for a 3 bedded PC in the Singapore Market. Try to view the 1313sqft/1604 unit if possible, which I personally think that it has the most usable space as compare with others. -

Northwoods
Very lovely development with nice spacious units unlike the new ones nowadays. It also has a huge balcony which is still usable space since one can use it for dining or chilling. As for the helicopter noises, its only in the distance and it is hardly audible. I love the peaceful and tranquility of the place. With the developments in the north of the new town centres, seletar aerospace hub,this is worth a look at. -

Carpark Problem
Lived here for past 3 years. Overall ok. Except 1 major problem. The development is lacking carpark lots. 1 unit 1 car. Extra lots (for units without car) are balloted and sold at $200/mth. I understand most new condos are like that. So this is definitely one factor you want to look out for if you intend to buy here. Used to live in Seletaris near Gambas. Well-sufficient car park lots. 3 cars 1 unit also no problem. Just pay abit for 2nd and 3rd car. Take care and good luck if you have more than 1 car in your household. I am moving to HDB soon. -

Another Record Price Set in Sep
This property is playing catch up recently. URA website indicate $937PSF in the month of Sep. That is almost another 5% percent increase. With announcements of the SpringLeaf station, this property will increase in value within 5 mins bus ride to Khatib, Yishun and Springleaf MRT in 5mins only. Many of the enblockers and people missing out on the more hotly contested MRT will find this very attractive. At the rate it is going it should hit $1000PSF soon. Happy for the residents there. -

New record price done again
Another record price was set last month $900 psf. So the next target could be @ 5% growth. Now the new asking price for Northwood is close to $1000 psf. The Sensoria was sold recently at $933 psf and the condo has no match for facilities that Northwood condo has. So good news for residents of Northwood condo. -

Northwoods
Lian Beng is the main contractor. For a 140 unit condo, the number of units on sale is really high, and sellers are desperate to get out. When the NSE construction comes along, the amount of dust and noise will disrupt the peace and dirty the walls of this condo. And the place may be falling apart then since quality of construction at beginning is real lousy. -

Nice And Peaceful Place To Live In
I'm the new owner and my whole family loves the condo as it is very peaceful. I read some dissapointed reviews and comments and I totally disagree with them because in Yishun,Sembawang and Woodlands,it is very hard to find freehold condominiums.The price has increased to around 865psf. The renting price has also increased over the years and it has been stable at around 3,500-3,600. The transport links are also quite good as there is a bus stop nearby.The interior of the condo units are very nice,and I'm very pleased with that.The condo facilities are also quite good and well-maintained. -

LOOKING FORWARD
Hi!I just bought a unit at Northwood, and will move in soon.i appreciate the entrance, it is nicely design and with big space.before i moving, i hear people talking about helicopter sound, but i think it will be ok after close the sliding door.i love the design it is what in my mind,my chilren also studying at Yishun. -
