  Melville Park

  Many families staying here so my kids made friends very fast, especially during festive occasions and other community events. There is a small shop inside selling groceries which is super useful when suddenly run out of ingredients. Condo facilities also quite complete, pool, tennis court, gym all decent. Good. The rooms are actually much bigger than newer condos we viewed around Tampines area. Only downside is MRT isnot exactly nearby. Quick fix, we usually take bus to Simei station, only few stops.

  near CBP

  2-bedder at Melville Park because I work nearby Changi Business Park. The unit size is more than enough. Nowadays new condo 2 bedroom so tiny until cannot even fit proper dining table. Here still got space, so I can even WFH comfortably. Feels like more than 2 ppl can stay here even. Estate is old but quite well maintained, lots of greenery and very peaceful at night. Basement carpark also huge, visitors never stress finding parking. Bus stop is outside. PIE alongside. value for money.

  space over aesthetics

  Melville Park may not be the fanciest condo but it certainly wins space over aesthetics. The swimming pool is big, tennis courts are always active and the management keeps the common areas generally clean. I like that there is enough open space for evening walks instead of feeling boxed in by tall buildings. That said, I do think they can prioritise the older facilities like the playground and sauna. Also corridors can feel dim depending on which block you're at.

  kinda old but comfy

  1996 condo Melville Park, looking dated but it's been home since i was born. mrt not near but bus stop all so convenient. many memories here

  well maintained

  Melville Park not only charming but also clean and well-maintained. lush landscape despite the dated look, with all the necessary facilities that are well-kept.

  festival atmosphere

  often come here for family's function and the hall is very big. nice pool also with wading pool for kids and sauna. there's even a mini mart within the condo where i can buy things i need like spices without heading out to Eastpoint Mall. always a lively festival atmosphere here during major celebrations like deepavali.

  Very old condo & infrastructure

  Won't recommend. Most of the houses are bjilt long ago and without renovation it is very expensive to maintain every month

  Now an Older Development that is paying the p

  Melville Park started with much fanfare when it TOPed in 1996. However, fast forward 28 years, and the high density (over 1000 units!) and age has led to many aspects of the condo to be less than desirable. Simei also has not seen much development since, and it is quite a distance from Simei MRT. Overall, consider this condo only if the value-proposition works for you. Even with a car, you will likely face some congestion during the peak hours.
