Things are getting better and it is a conduci
Although this condo was delayed due to the original developer problems, things are getting better and there are improvements to common areas and the condo facilities. The location is at the fringe of the beautiful and serene Hillview Estate. I would highly recommend this place for its peace and quiet. The transport link is also quite good with 3 nearby MRT stations which are easily connected by the public bus services. There are also many nearby amenities. Ideal for single, young couple and even a family with a young kid. -

Quiet and peaceful, yet a convenient location, near to local amenities and nature reserve. Excellent location for working adults, families, students, etc. with adequate facilities for occupants. Located near to three MRT stations and public bus services available. -

Laurel Tree visit
Small pool, quiet place. Not many ppl crowded in the pool. One bedroom unit just nice for 2pax. Lovely balcony noce for dining area, and nice chill place to sit down and enjoy the greneery bukit timah hill. Plenty parking available, lifts are clean and quiet. Nice gym. Many buses from bkt batok or bkt Gombak. Few eateries around the condo and walking distance to Guilin Park. Guard and guard are friendly. l -

Quiet environment and close to nature
Great for individuals and small families who love the natural and prefers a quiet environment. Those units facing the pool have a great hill of the natural reserve! -

Peaceful place to live
Decent size condo for singles/couples. Enjoyed the unblocked view and tranquility. Quiet and peaceful, yet a convenient place, near to amenities and nature reserve. -

Continuation of earlier review
As this is a small project, it’s understandable that there is no security post. Residents have access via the access card, and visitors can make use of the intercom to communicate with their hosts and to gain entry. Good enough for a 70 units project. The only complaint of Laurel Tree is the lift lobby. Thought that a nicer and more classy look can be obtained with better use of colours and materials. The nearest bus stop is a 3 min walk away, and it takes you to the Hillview station which connects to the downtown. Ideal for individuals who works in the CBD too. Overall, Hillview is a nice and quiet area to live in. It’s particularly suitable for single, young couples or small family who love the nature. -

Project completed in good condition
Thankfully a reputable developer took over this project and completed it in good order. Though some of the fixings and carpentry were done years ago, the new developer/contractor was able to rectify the defects. No major complaint of the finished unit, everything which was promised was delivered, and quality of which are above expectations. Since TOP, the management has made several improvements to the common facilities and area, and has taken in the owners’ opinions into consideration. Now, the common facilities have mostly been set up, and all seems to be in good condition and working order. The pool is particularly beautiful and big for its size. BBQ area and gym are well set up and cosy. -

Bad for Investment
Already 5 months old, but the pool still does not work, the BBQ pit is not installed, no deck chair at the poolside, garbage in the elevator is a common sight, no monitoring for misusing the common properties (such as drying clothes in the poolside), no security post or toilet for staff. The white goods provided are also of poor quality. Not worth investing in this property as the strata value will surely fall soon. -
