A great place
I have been staying at HG for 7 months. So far, I have no regrets in buying this home: my spouse and I had been house-hunting in Hillview area for 2 yrs, so we had seen most developments in Hillview area, and we still think HG is the best development here. The furnishings and furnitures are modern, the master bedroom bathroom is hotel-standard (yet practical) and never fail to impress our guests, Kitchen is bright ('cos comes with windows at the sink- so I don't know why there are comments that the kitchen is dark), private lift lobby, all rooms are of good size, no wastage of space. There are also 4 pools and big landscaped area. So my toddler enjoys going for a swim (there are fountains and interesting features at the pool) and going for a walk and he gets to see the koi, and tortises etc. So far, we have not faced with parking problems (as long as you have only one car- as the basement carpark is accessible to residents and 1st car only). More importantly, the future MRT is within 5 minutes walk (near where the Standard Chartered Bank is now), and if you do a check in URA website, the empty land opposite HG is ear-marked for commercial area. So we believe, some shopping area will be up when MRT is ready. As for expat crowd, there are now quite alot of Causasians (more than other nationallities), probably due to the German school and Canadian school at Jln Jurong Kecil. Overall it is a great place to stay. -

Good
I from China, living here for 2 years. I am happy to see more and more of our country people staying here. It is like a gathering for place for us. I hope to see more of our people here so that we can look after and take care one another. -

Solve the carpark issue
Was quite interested in this place as it gives a resort feeling but the price offered was very high. Carpark issue actually the MC can solved, just like our current place: Big units: 2 free carpark lots, subsequent cars have to pay season parking. (have to restrict the number of cars) small units: 1 free carpark lot, 2nd car have to pay season parking. (restrict 2 cars) -

Best quality in fixtures
Our family had lived in few condos before moving to Hillington Green and we still find that this condo has got the best in terms of fixtures and fiftings. All the doors here are of dark wood which look solid and modern even after so many years. Toilets' tiling also comes with modern design which give an upmarket feel. One of the most unique thing is the open concept jacuzzi bath tub. No other condominium in this area comes with that. Private lift lobby also gives residents here lots of privacy. We like staying here and certainly will not consider selling in the near future as there's a lot of potential when the MRT line is ready! -

Expensive
I am scounting around for condo for investment, in the central and west. HG price is expensive for Hillview area. It is too far from town and not many amenities nearby. If I purchased at a high price, meaning I have to rent it out at a higher price, ended up very difficult to get tenants. There may be a lot of school buses available for schools, but a lot of wasted traveling time. My friend has a unit there, she told me all units pool facing, sometimes quite uneasy for her to go for a swim and a tan cos neighbours and friends can see from their unit. Most of the units I viewed especially the lower floors are not bright. Of course the carpark issue has to take into consideration, it can be a nightmare. -

A lushy condo with true resort feel
I am thinking of buying a unit in HG as an investment. There are some comments made about parking and limited nearby amenities, however to me for a 999 years (virtual freehold) condo in a land scarce Singapore at a price 99 leasehold price is a really bargain. Though there are no schools in a walking distance, there are plenty of school buses offered and available here. From investment point of view, investing in property is all about prospect. Imagine when the MRT is ready in few years time and some talks about the massive piece of empty land nearby being developed (the Railmall will be redeveloped for sure), this area really offers a great potential. I believe HG is by far the best in Hillview area. Once the MRT is ready, I won't be able to get it at this price. -

priced WAY to high
i am living in hillington green at the moment, and although we like the unit we are renting the prices that similar units are currently being listed at is ridiculous. it is not a very convenient location and there is nothing around us. for the prices that are being listed now you could have your choice of condos in WAY better locations. TOO EXPENSIVE!!! -

Not bright
I went to view a few units. Most of the kitchens are very dark during daytime, some even the hall. Have to turn on the lights during daytime. Price is very expensive for the kind of area. Can get better price at other better area. Future MRT near railway mall is too far to walk. They just painted the place but before, it looked old for a relatively new condo. We went in the afternoon to view but parking already quite full. Recent stories about carpark problem at Hillington green. Need to consider carefully before purchasing. No schools nearby especially those who are going primary education. The corridor is so narrow. -

Hillington Green
HG though relatively new compare to other condos in Hillview is not that convenient. The future MRT ( in 2015 ) is quite a distance away. There is no way u can walk to the MRT directly. You hv to go down the slope and walk up another slope to reach the MRT station - vice versa on the other journey - est at least 15 mins for a fask walk. Furthermore, most of the units are quite dark ( if without pm sun ). Not worth for the price asked - nightmare fighting for car park lot. -

Carpark Nightmare
I have shifted here about a year. I own quite a big unit here about 1700sqf and have 2 cars. We were only given 1 carpark lot whereas some staying small units have 2 carpark lots. The managemant should review this issue. Everyday, our 2nd car has to fight for the visitor's lot, if no space, we have to take the risk to park outside. This place is good for family with no car or only 1 car. -
