No regret
Searched up and down around hillview & beauty world areas and finally settled down here for about 1 year. this development is one of the best if not the best for own stay (not investors) with young kids and nature lovers. the quality of the building and interior is much better than the new and surrounding sites. you have to view it to believe...Was this review helpful? Confusing layout
Resort like landscape, beautiful pools and greenery. Interior layout of apartments confusing. It was a headache trying to make my way from my end of the house to the other. Some master bedrooms are tilted off centre so the bed ends up being positioned in a slanted manner. Imagine trying to sleep at an angle every night. Not for those who prefer squarish efficient layouts. Upside it is a great place for kids to play hide and seek in the house since there are so many corners and blind ends. Noticed that island table takes up significant space in the dining area and most families end up piling groceries and condiments on it.Was this review helpful? Report review -

Excellent development for own stay
Nice landscaping with greenery all around. Private lift in ALL units. Pool view for ALL units & all units come with a smallish balcony/planter area. 5mins to MRT for a 999 leasehold - value add New Gombak CC next to it New shopping centre 3 mins walk to this development. 3 swimming pools A few big ponds with kois and tortoises close to main entrance- fun for kids. Price at the moment is the friendliest amongst some of the crazily priced developments. Potential to appreciate over the years ahead due to proximity to amenities. Frankly, once u see Hillington Green, all the rest of the developments in Hume Avenue and Hillview area are mediocre.Was this review helpful? Report review -

Ideal home
After months of house hunting, I am happy to say I just secured a unit at Hillington Green. I can't complained about the estate. Hugh spaces (3 swim pools and landscapes) and greenery. My agent told me the previous owner claimed that they see brown squirrels every morning! My sister came to check out the estate with me and as she strolls the estate at night, she said she felt as if she was at a resort! I read the usual grouses of lack of transport and nearby amenities but I believe that has or will improve with the new HillV2 mall and upcoming MRT Downtown Line. Though I am not renting my unit, I trust the rents will start to rise once the MRT is running this year. Prices are obviously taking this into account.Was this review helpful? Report review -

Poor investment
Even though this project is 999yr, the rental yield for this project is very poor. Would you pay $1.3+million for a unit that can only rent for $3k a month? I think some HDB flats can rent better than a 3 bedder in Hillington green. The poor rental yield suggests this project is overpriced.Was this review helpful? Report review -

Resort Jewel
Beautiful and resort like. Lots so space unlike new condos nowadays. Very well maintained. When you are in th s compound, you will feel like you are in a world class resort and because the compound is so big, you forget that yon are in Singapore. A few years down, there will be a posh shopping mall and MRT 5 mins walk away. Yon can get your favorite wine and Starbucks, and best meats in townWas this review helpful? Report review -

Great place!
I'm surprised about the amount of reviews this condo has received compared to others in the area. I am even more surprised when I read some of the negative comments, for many of the negative points raised do simply not hold true, e.g. no balconies (every unit has one!), darkness (all units I have come across are bright). I have purchased a unit here after extensive research and after looking at each of the surrounding properties in great detail and I have not regretted it for a minute! Hillington Green is well maintained, the management is most forthcoming and polite, the landscaping is superb and the most 'tropical' among the Hillview lot with beautiful coconut trees surrounding the pools. The units are elegant with added features that you do not find elsewhere, such as the private lift, open style bathrooms etc. There are plenty of buses just outside the door taking you to places. The area will certainly get a lift once the shopping centre across the road and the nearby MRT are ready. Comments that the place is a 'mini Chinatown' are truly inadequate and ungrounded. The resident mix is mainly local with an increasing caucasian population as well. The only downside I can think is the squeeze when it comes to carpark space. But then, lots of condos have carpark issues...Was this review helpful? Report review -
