Verdale sells 50% of 78 units released on launch weekend

Verdale, a private residential development located at Jalan Jurong Kechil in District 21, has sold 50% of the 78 units launched on Saturday (19 September).

Jointly developed by COLI Singapore and CSC Land Group (Singapore), sales were carried out via a pre-balloting procedure where buyers were given a pre-allocated timeslot during the launch day to proceed to the showflat for booking. Sales after the initial launch day were carried out by appointment only.

“Having launched Verdale in these unprecedented times, we are very encouraged by the positive response garnered over this weekend,” said the joint developers.

They noted that the sales momentum was “driven by a mix of demand from buyers in the immediate vicinity and other districts, drawn to the tranquil surroundings of the nearby nature parks, as well as the potential and heightened connectivity of the future Beauty World Integrated Transport Hub (ITH)”.

There was also interest coming from HDB upgraders from surrounding areas as well as empty nesters looking to downsize while remaining close to their children.

Buyers were a mix of investors, young professionals, multigenerational families and young couples. Singaporeans and permanent residents accounted for 95% of the buyers during the first weekend of sales.

Jovel Chua, who purchased a two-bedroom unit for her own stay, said: “Being a nature lover, I am drawn to the Forest Bathing inspired concept for this development. And I like the thoughtful layout, and its provision of high-quality appliances and fittings.”

Verdale is a five-storey private residential development of seven blocks with 258 units.

As at Sunday (20 September), one-bedroom units were going from $791,000 to $878,000, two-bedders from $998,000 to $1,392,000, three-bedders from $1,557,000 to $1,811,000 and four-bedders from $2,449,000 to $2,581,000. The duplex penthouses, on the other hand, were offered from $2,625,000 to $3,341,000.

Viewings for the project will continue to be conducted via pre-arranged appointments, with limited timeslots to ensure that groups are spaced out in line with the authorities’ guidelines on pandemic safety measures.
