Kingsford Waterbay

According to mid-month data from the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA), property developers sold 613 private homes in March 2015 excluding executive condominiums, representing a 60 percent increase from the previous month when 390 units were taken up.

There were 400 private units launched for sale in March, up 12 percent from February when there was a slowdown in project launches due to the Chinese New Year period.

According to PropNex Realty, the combination of more new units launched for sale and reasonable prices in an increasingly price sensitive market drew bargain-hunting home buyers back to showflats.

Despite the weakened sentiment for buying Singapore property, last month’s sales shows that underlying demand is still good if prices are attractive, noted the agency.

Here are the four best-selling projects in March as compiled by PropNex: Kingsford Waterbay, Sims Urban Oasis, City Gate and The Skywoods.
