URA awards tender for Sturdee Road site

Sturdee Road site

The tender for a 6,111.5 sqm residential site at Sturdee Road near Farrer Park MRT station has been awarded to SL Capital, according to the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA).

The developer submitted the top bid of $181.2 million for the land parcel which has a maximum permissible gross floor area (GFA) of 21,391 sqm. This works out to $8,470.34 psm on the GFA.

Offered on a 99-year lease, the tender for the site closed on 24 March after receiving 16 bids.

The site is expected to yield 265 housing units.
