CBD buildings light up for SG50

Five buildings on the city skyline around Marina Bay will feature a synchronised themed lighting in Singapore’s national colours tonight.

As part of this year’s New Year’s Eve celebrations to usher in Singapore’s Golden Jubilee in 2015, the Ocean Financial Centre, OCBC Centre, Maybank Tower, One Raffles Place, and Millenia Tower will be lit in red and white and feature the number ‘50’.

The displays will take place half hourly from 8pm to 11.30pm.

The SG50 logo will also be seen on the ArtScience Museum façade, the underside of the Marina Bay Sands SkyPark, and on Esplanade’s domes.

The will also be a range of ticketed and non-ticketed events around Marina Bay (pictured) to welcome the new year tonight.
