The inaugural Singapore Art Fair is happening from 27 to 30 November 2014 at the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition.

Featuring about 60 international galleries, the modern and contemporary art fair will focus on art from Middle East, North Africa & South East Asia (ME.NA.SA), and galleries from Lebanon, UAE, Singapore Syria, Malaysia, Hong Kong. Thailand, and the Philippines are participating.

Visitors can expect to be taken on an “art journey” across the Silk Road of today, as emerging as well as established artists from regions along the Silk Road will bring their historical and cultural experiences through their art.

The wide range of artwork available also offers homeowners an opportunity to source for the best pieces for their homes without visiting multiple galleries.

Programmes for the public include a street art performance, public art showcase, video art performance and educational talks where they can learn more about art from the region.
