The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) and Housing and Development Board (HDB) today launched three new residential sites for sale under the Government Land Sales (GLS) Programme for 1H2013.
Offered on a 99-year lease, all three sites could yield a total of 845 housing units.
The first two sites at Woodlands Avenue 5 and Coronation Road were released under the confirmed list, while the remaining site at Jalan Bunga Rampai is on the reserve list.
The land parcel in Woodlands is for executive condominium (EC) homes and has a site area of 226,088 sq ft. It is likely to generate 590 units and is easily accessible via the Admiralty and Woodlands MRT stations as well as Seletar Expressway.
Meanwhile, the Coronation Road site has an area of 403,015 sq ft and could yield 140 houses. Located in an established landed housing estate in Bukit Timah, the site is close to major roads and expressways like Bukit Timah Road and the Pan Island Expressway.
As for the plot at Jalan Bunga Rampai, it features a land area of 50,231 sq ft and could generate 115 units. Located in the city-fringe, the site is within proximity of Bartley MRT station and several expressways.
