Heeton Holdings plans to begin construction of a new Grange Road condominium – iLiv@Grange – in September this year, said Danny Low, chief operating officer of the company.
The firm also intends to relaunch The Lumos over the next two months. Since early 2008, sales of units in the Leonie Hill project have been delayed, as Heeton and its partner, Koh Brothers, waited for the luxury property market to recover.
All 30 iLiv@Grange apartment units in the exclusive luxury development are now available to home buyers. However, even though no units have been sold yet, the company intends to proceed with its construction and sell the units when there are interested home buyers.
"We bought the site in 2007 and three years have passed," said Mr. Low. "We are open to selling any unit, but either way, we will start construction, maybe by September."
Units will go for above $3,000 psf, but its price could be lower on a psf basis for larger apartments. Apartment units in other projects within the vicinity are selling for $2,700 psf to $3,500 psf, said Mr. Low.
The architecture of iLiv@Grange is by Mercurio Design Lab. The development also boasts interiors by yoo, the brainchild of Philippe Starck and John Hitchcox.
"iLiv@Grange was designed with ultimate living in mind, and no detail was spared to achieve this ambition," said Mr. Low. "By combining the talents of MDL and yoo, we hope to create an architectural masterpiece that is also a celebration of haute couture living."
iLiv@Grange, which is the inaugural project of yoo in Singapore, promises classy interiors and impeccable landscapes. It offers a selection of one-, two- and three-room apartments, each complete with furnishings like sanitary wares and fittings from Duravit by Starck and HansGrohe by Starck. The project also has two double-storey penthouses with private roof terraces and pools.
The project is slated for completion in October 2013.
