Asian stocks are showing signs of recovery, as investors purchasing weak shares at the final moment have improved confidence in Wall Street, resulting in a turnaround from initially incurred losses.
There was a 0.9-percent increase in Japan’s Nikkei Stock Average while New Zealand’s NZX-50 increased 0.6 percent.
Australia’s S&P/AX 200 had the best performance with an increase of 1.7 percent.
However, Korea’s Kospi increased slightly to 0.4 percent.
South Korea’s mild increase was attributed to the growing tension with the North, causing investors to become vigilant.
After half an hour of trading, the Singapore Straits Time Index increased to 1.1 percent.
