The CPF usage rules encourage families to buy properties with sufficient lease to cover all co-owners for life. Hence, CPF usage is capped based on the age of the youngest co-owner using CPF.
When the youngest co-owner relinquishes ownership of the flat, CPF Board will update the CPF usage limit based on the age of the next youngest remaining co-owner and inform all co-owners in writing.
