I have served some buyers who have viewed up to 40 to 50 units before they decide on their ideal units.
Being well qualified is a major factor but not the deciding factor. Physical purchase of unit also depends on other factors. Unit's facing and level, buyer's feel of the unit and expectation of the value worth, actual pricing against ideal pricing, difference of acceptance between buyer 1 and buyer 2, fengshui and Qi, etc.
Unless you are very sure and firm on what you want and what you are not willing to compromise, it would be a waste of time shopping around as your salesperson are not able to match the right unit for you.
