When must buyer pay the 1% commission to agent for purchase of HDB resale flat? Is it at the 1st appt with HDB or upon completion of the sale ie 6-8 weeks after the 1st appt with HDB. What is the market practice on this payment timing to agent?

Evening,

Under the current ruling, commission chargable is to be negotiated between buyer and agent. As for me, the commission payable is only upon completion, although I won't mind if my buyer choose to pay me earlier.
