Hi Savitha, in my opinion, I would think that Eastpoint Green is worth investing, given that the shopping mall and Simei MRT is just a short walk away. In fact, I have a 2 bedroom unit at Eastpoint Green and seller is willing to let go at 800k.

Hi Savitha,

The units at Tropica Spring are not really affected by the MRT, and for greater assurance you can just find units not directly facing the MRT tracks; in terms of distance, Tropica Spring is much nearer to the MRT and shopping mall.

East Point Green might be away from the MRT tracks but do note that a part of it is facing the main road, and it's 5 years older than Tropica Spring.

Hence, it boils down to a few key factors:
1) if you drive, perhaps you'd choose East Point Green as it's nearer to the expressway exits; if you take public transport more, Tropica Spring is better
2) if you intend to do an investment buy, you should get the younger condominium
3) in terms of view, facing landed houses would mean a greater distance of unblocked view, which would be a plus right?

I guess you have to be clear of your requirements before you make a choice.
