What is the procedure for lodging a complaint on a property agent?

The agent, who is the landlord's agent, told the tenants that the landlord wishes to terminate a 1-year tenancy agreement after about 1.5 months into the tenancy and that the tenants have no choice but to move out (is this true?). He went on to threaten the tenants that if they do not cooperate with moving out, he would do "nasty things" to them and make their life difficult. In addition, as the tenants are foreigners, he mocked their English standards.

Can such conduct lead to the termination of his licence? Should a police report be made? The threats were made over call and have been recorded.

Hi, a TA is a contract and landllord cannot terminate it as and when he or she wishes. You may like to look at CEA website for lodging a complaint.
