Hi,

I suppose you mean buying under a Trust? It basically means buying a property under a minor who is not of legal age of 21 to "own" a property. Upon the purchase, the property will be held by the "Trustee" until the beneficiary reaches the age of 21, afterwhich the property will be transferred to him/her.

Buying under a trust for your child means he or she will be the beneficiary of the property while you as the parent will be trustee. There are certain pros and cons for buying under a trust such as you will not be able to use any CPF or loan for the purchase.
