Asked by
To apply for HLE, I may be asked to submit income documents and official English translation if document is not in English.

1. I am now working overseas and have overseas income, income document in non-English. What is accepted as official translated documents ?

2. Can i submit POA anytime during the purchase transaction even after receiving the HLE letter ?

3. What is required to complete the home purchase process within a month (only back in Singapore for 1 month)? Assuming I have shortlisted a few flats for viewing.

Thank you

Hi
To answer your question:
1) A document translated by a professional translator service in Singapore might be accepted. It is highly advisable if you check with HDB with regards to the company/professionals you are engaging to provide the translation is recognised by HDB
2) POA have to be submitted anytime before the resale application stage.
3) The whole purchase process will take up anywhere from 3 to 6 months excluding the viewing period. As you will only be in Singapore for 1 month, I would suggest you appoint a POA while you are in the county to save cost, hassle and allows POA to take over and represent on your behalf for the processing part once you leave Singapore.
