Hi, it is usually the landlord responsibility, however if it is due to tenant negligence , it might be otherwise. Do inform the landlord as soon as possible to rectify the issue before it causes more damages.

It is dependent on several factors and may I know how long has the tenant moved into the unit already? Or just recently?
